We are excited to be kicking off another season of youth rowing at CBRC. You should find most of the program and registration information you need, below

Junior Fall 2021 - Novice and Experienced Athletes

CBRC will be accepting athletes (rising 7th graders through 12th grade) for 2021 Fall Season.

Please register for one of the following categories:

  • Novice (new to rowing including participation in Summer-Learn-to Row program)
  • Experienced Athletes (participated in at least one full season of rowing)

Season Schedule:

  • First day of Fall Season for Experienced Athletes - Tues., Sept. 7.
  • First day of Fall Season for Novices - Mon., Sept. 13
  • Last day of Fall Season - Fri., Nov. 5.

Practice Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday 3:30 - 5:30 p.m.

General Participation Requirements

Each rower is required to register online before participating in each rowing season. Athletes must also hold a current USRowing membership, have their member number available, and sign a USRowing online waiver. Finally, please sign and submit the electronic Code of Conduct Agreement form to complete registration with CBRC.

US Rowing Membership:

For information on how to obtain a US Rowing member number please use the information found here.

  • A USRowing membership is required for participation in rowing at CBRC.
    • A "Championship Membership" ($45.00) is required.
    • US Rowing memberships are good for one year from month of purchase.

CBRC Membership Dues:

  • Annual dues are $50. Payment is due upon registration for Fall season unless you have already paid with Spring or summer season registration or with rack rental.

Volunteer Commitment:

  • Volunteering is essential to the success of all of our programs at CBRC.
  • Please help with at least one CBRC event or committee.
  • Contribute 3 hours or more of your time per season.

Fall Season Participation Fees:

  • Fall Season fee: $540.00

The fees include Washington State sales tax and the following operating costs:

  • Practice costs: coaches' pay, payroll taxes, launch gas, repair costs, etc.
  • Regatta fees

The above fees do not include the following:

  • US Rowing Membership ($45.00)
  • CBRC Annual dues ($50.00)
  • Team Clothing Fees (Variable).
  • Costs associated with personal travel to regattas, hotels, meals, etc.

Optional $50 or $100 donation for equipment replacement or program support

  • When you register, you can choose:
    • "Yes, please accept my donation of ...
    • or "No, thank you."

Fall Season Waivers and Agreements:

Please complete the following agreement prior to first practice.

Fall Registration:

Registration is required for all athletes participating in rowing at CBRC.

  • Registration will open: Thurs., July 29.
  • Please complete your registration by Tues., Aug. 31
  • Choose "Pay by Check" option to make payment arrangements, or pay by check.

At CBRC we are deeply committed to providing a rowing experience to all youth without regard to ability to pay. Scholarship applications are confidentially accepted and welcomed on a need basis.

Yearly Seasons Overview:

  • Current Season - Fall - August through October.
  • Winter Training Season - November through January.
  • Spring - February through May.
  • Summer - May through July.

Team Clothing:

All junior team athletes wishing to race are required to purchase the minimum racing uniform. Older CBRC uniforms can be subsituted but we encourage the purchase of the current uniform. All other clothing items can be purchased as desired. Team supporters are welcome to purchase items from the casual wear listed, as well.

The store is currently now open and will close on Monday, September 6th.
