This program is for experienced athletes.

New to Rowing? Register for Learn to Row for high school or middle school athletes.

We are excited to be kicking off another season of youth rowing at CBRC. You should find most of the program and registration information you need, below.

Junior Summer 2021

Participation Requirements

Each rower is required to register online before participating in each rowing season. Athletes must also hold a current USRowing membership, have their member number available, and sign a USRowing online waiver. Finally, please sign and return the Code of Conduct Agreement forms to complete registration with CBRC.

US Rowing Membership:

For information on how to obtain a US Rowing member number please use the information found here.

  • A USRowing membership is required for participation in rowing at CBRC.
    • A "Championship Membership" ($45.00) is required.
    • US Rowing memberships are good for one year from month of purchase.

CBRC Membership Dues:

  • Annual dues are $50. Payment is due upon registration for Summer season unless you have already paid with Spring Season registration

Volunteer Commitment:

  • Volunteering is essential to the success of all of our programs at CBRC.
  • Please help with at least one CBRC event or committee.
  • Contribute 3 hours or more of your time per season.

Summer Season Participation Fees:

  • Summer Season fee: $500.00

The fees include Washington State sales tax and the following operating costs:

  • Practice costs: coaches' pay, payroll taxes, launch gas, repair costs, etc.

The above fees do not include the following:

  • US Rowing Membership ($45.00)
  • CBRC Annual dues ($50.00)
  • Team Clothing Fees (Variable).
  • Regatta entry fees
  • Costs associated with personal travel to regattas, hotels, meals, etc.

Summer Season Waivers and Agreements:

Please download, sign, and return the following form (electronic or hard copy) prior to first practice.

Optional $50 or $100 donation for equipment replacement or program support

  • When you register, you can choose:
    • "Yes, please accept my donation of ...
    • or "No, thank you."

Summer Registration:

Registration is required for all athletes participating in rowing at CBRC.

  • Registration will open: Wed., May 4.
  • Please complete your registration by Mon., May 31
  • Choose "Pay by Check" option to make payment arrangements, or pay by check.

At CBRC we are deeply committed to providing a rowing experience to all youth without regard to ability to pay. Scholarship applications are confidentially accepted and welcomed on a need basis.

Yearly Seasons Overview:

  • Current Season - Summer - June 21 through August 5
  • Fall - September through October.
  • Winter Training Season - November through January.
  • Spring - February through May.

Registration and Financials:

  • Registration is OPEN.

Season Schedule:

  • First day of Summer Season -Monday, June 21.
  • Last day of Spring Season - Thursday, Aug. 5.

Practice Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday 8:00 - 10:00 a.m.

Team Clothing:

All junior team athletes wishing to race are required to purchase the minimum racing uniform. Older CBRC uniforms can be subsituted but we encourage the purchase of the current uniform. All other clothing items can be purchased as desired. Team supporters are welcome to purchase items from the casual wear listed, as well.
