Adult Novice-Intermediate Program

Adult Novice-Intermediate Program

This program offers continued instruction for those who complete our Introductory Sweep and/or Introductory Sculling Class. It also provides an opportunity for experienced rowers to ease back into the sport after some absence. The focus of the program is to build technical proficiency and prepare athletes for participation in our advanced-competitive group.

Our schedule for the Fall Season is as follows:

Novice Intermediate Sculling: Mon. and Wed. 5:30-7:00 a.m. and Sat. 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Novice-Intermediate Sweep: Tues. and Thurs. 5:30-7:00 a.m. and Sat. 6:30-8:30 a.m.


The participation fee for the Fall Season prorated for Sept. 2 through Nov. 3 is:

  • Three Practices Per Week for $200.00 (includes WA State sales tax)

Fee will be pro-rated for those completing Intro classes after the beginning of the season.

Fee includes Washington State sales tax and the following operating costs:

  • Practice costs: coaches pay, payroll taxes, launch gas, repair costs, etc.

US Rowing Membership:

  • A USRowing membership is required for participation in rowing at CBRC.
    • A "Championship Membership" ($65.00) is required.
    • US Rowing memberships are good for one year from month of purchase.
    • You are also required to sign a USRowing online waiver
