During the Summer of 2007, CBRC will be partnering with the City of Lakewood and their Summer Camps Program to bring rowing to area youth. We will be working with them for three different week long sessions. Our goal is to teach the kids about water safety, leadership, team work and the sport as a whole. After this experience we hope that many of the kids will choose to return during the school year. |

Commencement Bay Rowing Club is dedicated to growing the sport of rowing by exposing people of all races, creeds, religions, sexual orientations and genders. To this end we offer our Outreach Programs to people who do not consider themselves to be traditional rowers and wish to learn about the sport. |
