Masters Rowing

Adult Rowing with CBRC!

New to Rowing? See our Adult Learn to Row Page for Intro Classes.

Experienced Rower? See our Masters Winter 2021 Page.

The master's rowing program at CBRC is based on three simple tenets: row well, row fast, have fun! We're a mixed team of both men and women. We row and race all available boat classes and have been actively expanding both our sweep and sculling programs.

The Master's team is open to all rowers over the age of 18 (must be 21 to compete in masters events). We offer programs for both rowers with previous rowing experience and those who are complete novices. We have a great mix of ages, experience, and rowing backgrounds. Wherever you are in your rowing progression you'll fit in. What we do ask is that every day you come to practice ready to work a little bit harder to be a little bit better.

We use racing as a means to structure our seasons and provide performance goals. Racing is optional but most team members choose to compete. We are strongly competitive regionally and attend most of the region's masters regattas.

We practice nearly year round with a few scheduled breaks throughout the year. Each season is built around the type of racing that we do during that period.

  • Spring Racing Season - February through April.
  • Summer Racing Season - May through July.
  • Fall Head Race Season - August through October
  • Winter Training - November through January.

Potential new team members should contact CBRC to see which program would be their best fit.
