Middle School Learn-to-Row - Summer 2021
(rising 7th and 8th graders*)

Practice times: Mon. and Wed., 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 3 weeks

MS - Session 1 (Completed)

*Parents should be aware that participants will be required to carry boats and other equipment. On-water training may be delayed for younger participants due to height, strength, or coordination considerations. Please discuss with a coach in advance if you have concerns.

Participation Requirements

Participants must be capable of treading water in athletic clothes for 10 minutes unassisted.

Athletes are required to register online before participating in each rowing program.

Youth Summer Learn to Row Participation Fee: $125.00

The fees include Washington State sales tax and the following operating costs:

  • Practice costs: coaches' pay, payroll taxes, launch gas, repair costs, etc.

Optional $50 or $100 donation for equipment replacement or program support

  • When you register, you can choose:
    • "Yes, please accept my donation of ...
    • or "No, thank you."

Learn to Row Registration:

Registration is required for all athletes participating in rowing at CBRC.

  • Registration will open: Tues., May 11.
  • Please complete your registration before first class.
  • Choose "Pay by Check" option to make payment arrangements, or pay by check.

At CBRC we are deeply committed to providing a rowing experience to all youth without regard to ability to pay. Scholarship applications are confidentially accepted and welcomed on a need basis.
