CBRC Masters Women's 2x at the 2025 Cascadia Championships in Canada

CBRC welcomes experienced rowers ages 18+ to join our competition team.

Whether you’ve recently completed one of our Learn-to-Row sessions, or have years of experience, we welcome athletes of all abilities to train and race with us.

We train during all four seasons, including indoor training during the winter months.

Row and race as much or as little as you’d like!

Program Overview

Imagine watching the sunrise over Mt. Rainier as eagles and herons glide overhead. We are fortunate to row on one of the most beautiful lakes in the region, and thanks to a full boathouse of equipment, our athletes may pursue sweep rowing, sculling, or a mix of both disciplines at CBRC.

Team

We have a great mix of ages, experience, and rowing backgrounds. Wherever you are in your rowing progression, you'll fit in. What we ask of our athletes is that every day you come to practice ready to work a little bit harder to be a little bit better.

We typically have around 40 active masters rowers, and we train in gender-mixed boats of all sizes, from singles to eights. We also welcome collegiate rowers to join us during the summer season.

Those with prior rowing experience can sign up and jump right into practices, while rowers who have completed one of our Summer Learn to Row classes can continue their rowing with our Novice Intermediate program in the fall.

Competition

We use racing to structure our seasons and set performance goals. Racing is optional, but most team members choose to compete. We are strongly competitive regionally and attend most of the region's Masters’ regattas.
