Commencement Bay Rowing Club
Lakewood, WA (near Tacoma, WA)
Commencement Bay Rowing Club (CBRC) is committed to serving the South Puget Sound rowing community with the highest quality rowing programs. Founded in 1992, we've grown to become one of the premier rowing clubs in the area, offering competitive programs for juniors (middle and high school), masters (post college), and sculling. Our teams train out of a modern boathouse on American Lake in Lakewood, WA, and compete in local, regional, and national USRowing-affiliated regattas.
CBRC is seeking an assistant youth coach for our upcoming Summer racing season and beyond. We are looking for coaches to work directly with our novice and intermediate rowers, as well as assist in coaching our varsity rowers as we grow our youth team of about 35 athletes back to pre-pandemic levels of 40-50. The assistant coaching positions are great entry-level positions for aspiring coaches eager to inspire and motivate the next generation of rowing champions.
