Adult (Masters) Winter Training
We are excited to be kicking off another season of winter training at CBRC. When the weather gets cold, we take our training indoors for cross-training. The season offers a fun and challenging mix of erg workouts, flexibility, and strength training to build fitness and get ready for racing in the spring.
Schedule
Tuesday, November 11, 2025 - Saturday, January 31, 2026
Practices
Tuesdays and Thursdays - 5:30 - 7:00 am
Saturdays - 6:30 - 8:30 am
All practices will be held upstairs in the CBRC boathouse.
On Saturdays, weather permitting, we will row on the water. Lineups will be made the morning of practice. Come prepared for an indoor or on-the-water practice if you’d like to get out on the water.
Program Fee
Full Winter Training season - $260 + tax
10-session Punch Card - $150 + tax
Competition
NW Ergomania - Indoor Rowing Championships hosted by Tacoma Rowing the first week of February. More information and athlete or volunteer registration can be found at the Regatta Central website when it is made available in mid-November 2025.
Youth (Juniors) Winter Training
CBRC invites both high school and middle school rowers to join us for winter training. Both programs will consist of a variety of indoor work including: rowing machines, weights, yoga, mobility, circuit exercises, and various cross-training. Athletes new to the sport (novices) are welcome to participate in our Winter Training season alongside our returning athletes.

High School: Monday through Thursday - 3:45 - 5:30 pm
Middle School: Monday and Wednesday - 3:45 - 5:30 pm
All practices will be held upstairs in the CBRC boathouse.

High School - $425 + tax, in full or 3 monthly payments
Middle School - $225 + tax, in full or 3 monthly payments
